Have you ever misunderstood a text you received? Assumed someone was upset when they weren’t? Jumped to conclusion in a matter because of words used in a memo? E-mail and texting are great to share information but not to communicate effectively. When the subject requires a clear understanding, it is best to connect voice-to-voice.

The words we speak reveal our heart’s intent and eliminate misinterpretation. The tone we use when we speak enhances the discernment of the hearer. In some situations, it requires a face-to-face meeting. We can then perceive the untold.  Eyes give insight into the soul. We can hold hands and pray together in the presence of the Lord. When there is an offense, satan tries to separate people to hinder the revelation of truth.

When that is not feasible, and we read what someone has written, we should picture them saying it with the understanding of who they are. We should also read over what we write before we send it, making sure it is clear. Our hearing aid, the Holy Spirit, will help us hear truth and speak life from glory to glory!

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
