When Jesus asked the blind man if he saw anything, the blind man looked up and answered that he could see men like trees, walking. Then Jesus put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. The blind man was then restored and saw everyone clearly. Spiritually the Lord touches us again and again until we are restored and can see things clearly.

The Lord’s plan is greater than what we can see. He desires for us to know His will undoubtedly; and through various ways, He brings clarification and confirmation again and again. Some things He has for us are so great that if He would show them to us too soon, we wouldn’t believe it. The Holy Spirit will gradually bring to light what we need to know. When things are not clear, we ask the Lord to touch us again and again until our next move is visible.

The Lord anoints our eyes to see what He has for us. Receiving His sight, His vision for us, is like removing a veil and things we see become clearer than ever before. We see Him, others, and even ourselves with increasing glory. Our spiritual vision improves and we can see how all things will be restored. What a blessing it is to know that even though we see dimly now, it is only temporary. The Lord’s hand is upon us, from glory to glory!

Mark 8:24-25 “And he looked up and said, ‘I see men like trees, walking.’ Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.”
