Do we delight ourselves in the Lord? In our abiding place in His presence, we overflow with joy. We seek after His will even when we don’t know what it entails. It is in that place that God plants new desires in our hearts.
We could not have thought of these desires on our own. They come with the faith and anointing only He can give. We don’t recognize these desires right away. They grow as God continues to make them clear, by revelation. Sometimes they resemble dreams because of their impossibility apart from the hand of God. We worship a mighty God and should dream big dreams.
We have the tendency to hold on to familiar desires. When we understand what God is leading us to be, or do, we commit our way to Him and trust that He will bring it to pass. Each instruction we follow replaces old desires or refines others. It is our main goal to walk in the spirit, not in the flesh, from glory to glory!
Psalms 37:4-5 “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”
